The Alpenglow Effect

Warmer temps have invaded the PNW, leading to spring like conditions across the West side of the cascades. We recommend breaking out the rock skis this weekend, and to chase the sun and softer snow! Very little to no snowfall expected for this weekend. Some resorts have limited grooming on runs, so expect variable conditions! Higher Elevations and resorts further east, like Mission Ridge, will offer best snow conditions.

Summit at Snoqualmie

Weather- Temps: 46°/33°, Sunny Skies, no precipitation on the forcast.

Sunny conditions will prevail, allowing for spring skiing fun! We recommend using your rock ski/board as rocks and branches will be exposed. Summit advises that they have limited groomed runs

Silver Fir Lift has been closed for night skiing closed. Lift hours for Silver Fir will be 9am-5pm until further notice

Alpental

Weekend Weather- Temps: 41°/29°, Sunny Skies and no precipitation all weekend.

Bluebird skies will prevail, allowing for spring skiing fun! We recommend using your rock ski/board as rocks and branches will be exposed. Most runs at Alpental are not groomed, and are "experts only."

Stevens Pass

Weekend Weather- Temps: 41°/27°, Sunny Skies and no precipitation all weekend long!

Most lifts will be open for the sunny conditions at Stevens Pass. Slightly warm temps will allow for spring-like, soft conditions in sun and icy conditions in the shade. Southern Cross, Double Diamond, and Seventh Heaven lifts are closed, but 75% of terrain is open!

Mission Ridge

Weekend Weather- Temps: 31°/20° - No Precipitation

Sunny Skies and lower temps than the western resorts will make for great bluebird conditions at Mission Ridge! All chairs are planned to be running this Saturday, Sun and Monday, but expect many runs to be closed/ungroomed.

White Pass

Weekend Weather- Temps 38°/24° - No Precipitation Continuing the trend of sunny skies, White Pass will see temps in the low to mid 30s and enjoy Bluebird conditions.

Expect some windy weather, with gusts up to 22mph over the weekend! Warmer conditions have exposed rocks and branches, so plan ahead and bring your rock skis! Most, if not all, lifts will be open this weekend!

Mt Baker

Weekend Weather- Temps: 44°/33° - No Precipitation

Mt Baker Ski Area will be experiencing beautiful Bluebird weather all weekend long! Temps in the higher 30s will make for beautiful MLK Day weekend! All lifts are planned to be open for spring like, variable conditions!

On Saturday, catch DJ Coda's DJ set from 2:30-5pm at White Salmon Beach!

Hurricane Ridge

Weekend Weather- Temps 44°/23°- No Precipitation

Hurricane Ridge is planned to be open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for MLK Day! Warm Temps and Bluebird Skies.
