The Seattle Chinese Garden is gearing up for its highly anticipated Annual Banquet and Awards Gala, bringing together civic leaders, cultural organizations, and local community members for an evening of celebration. Set to take place on Friday, June 5, 2026, the gala will be held at the Diamond Bay Restaurant, located at 409 8th Ave. S. in Seattle.
This year's event holds special significance as the organization plans to honor several pivotal community figures. Dennis and Millie Su, along with Tony Au, will be recognized for their outstanding leadership. Additionally, the Seattle Chinese Garden will celebrate its long-time supporter, the Boeing Company, for their ongoing dedication to the garden's mission.
Beyond the awards, attendees can look forward to exciting updates regarding the capital campaign for "The Central Garden," an initiative that was officially launched at last year's banquet.
The evening will kick off with a reception beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.. For the convenience of attendees, complimentary parking with security will be available nearby under I-5.
Individual tickets for the banquet are available for $100, and there is a special table price offered for Chinese family associations. To purchase tickets or to discuss special table pricing, attendees are encouraged to reach out via email at aolani.chan@seattlechinesegarden.org.
