The upcoming week features a heavy schedule for professional teams on the road, alongside several notable home matches for local rugby and soccer fans.
The Seattle Mariners will spend the week on the East Coast, concluding a three-game series in Detroit on June 7th before heading to Baltimore for a four-game set against the Orioles from June 8th through June 11th. Meanwhile, the Seattle Storm will play away games in Minnesota and Las Vegas before returning to the Climate Pledge Arena on Wednesday, June 10th, to host Los Angeles.
For fans looking for live action within the Seattle area, the Seattle Seawolves will host the California Legion at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila on Sunday, June 7th. Amateur soccer also provides several local opportunities:
Ballard FC hosts the Portland Bangers at Interbay Stadium on Saturday, June 6th, while the Salmon Bay women's team takes on the Portland Cherry Bombs at the same venue earlier that afternoon.
On Sunday, June 7th, West Seattle Junction FC will play Midlakes United at the Nino Cantu Southwest Athletic Complex.
Baseball fans can also head to Cheney Stadium later in the week, as the Tacoma Rainiers return from a road trip in Sacramento to begin a home series against Albuquerque. This home stand starts with an early game on Tuesday, June 9th, and continues with evening matchups on Wednesday and Thursday.
