"On August 27, 2026, Burien Police Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team detectives arrested a suspected drug trafficker accused of selling cocaine and methamphetamine in Burien, SeaTac, and Kent. Detectives served a warrant and recovered 527 grams of methamphetamine, 260.7 grams of cocaine, one handgun, and $800 in drug proceeds. The suspect was booked into King County Jail."

"Burien Police arrested a driver on suspicion of DUI after deputies found him unconscious in a running vehicle stopped in the middle of a downtown Burien roadway on SW 152nd Street. Police received multiple calls about the vehicle. When deputies arrived, they found an unconscious man in the driver's seat with the engine running and beer bottles visible. Field sobriety tests were conducted, and the driver was determined to be impaired, providing a breath sample of 0.182. The vehicle was impounded, and the man was booked into jail, having been arrested for DUI 10 days earlier."

"At 07:56 hours, two employees pulled into the parking lot of their workplace in the 6900 block of West Marginal Way SW. As they waited for the gate to close, a newer white Jeep Grand Cherokee prevented the gate from closing. Two male suspects in their late teens or early 20s exited the Jeep and held both victims at gunpoint. One of the suspects had a firearm equipped with a switch. The suspects then escorted one of the victims inside the business and took thousands of dollars worth of merchandise before fleeing the scene."
