This week's action saw intense competition across football, girls soccer, and volleyball, featuring several commanding shutouts, close nail-biters, and key rivalry setups.
On the gridiron, Eastside Catholic delivered the most dominant football performance with a 49–0 shutout against Chief Sealth, while Lindbergh similarly overwhelmed Evergreen 45–0.
In tighter gridiron action, Mt. Rainier edged Auburn-Riverside 18–16 in a thrilling Thursday game, and West Seattle secured a 32–17 win over Roosevelt, setting the stage for their upcoming annual Huling Bowl rivalry game against Chief Sealth.
In girls soccer, lopsided offensive displays stood alongside tense defensive duels. Auburn-Riverside, Lindbergh, Chief Sealth, and Issaquah all recorded 7–0 blowout victories against their respective opponents. Meanwhile, Ballard earned a gritty 1–0 shutout win over West Seattle, and Foster trimmed Tyee 2–1 in tightly contested matches.
Volleyball action featured numerous sweep victories, highlighted by Mt. Rainier and Kennedy Catholic sweeping their opponents in straight sets across multiple match days. The most competitive volleyball battle took place between Tyee and Foster, where Tyee narrowly outlasted the Bulldogs in a 3–2 thriller.
