The Sweeney blocks redevelopment proposed for 4406 36th SW has taken its next step with the response to the Design Review Board now submitted.

The break ins that have plagued White Center in recent months continued on Wednesday morning when Patrick's Bakery and Cafe located at 15th SW and 100th SW was broken into around 6 am.

The West Seattle Junction parking lots that since the 1950's have provided easy access for patrons of the area are headed for development. The questions of what and when remain open.

Community Roots Housing, in partnership with the West Seattle Junction Association (WSJA), is proposing plans for a redevelopment of four parking lots in West Seattle.

An online meeting is set for Nov. 4 at 7pm to learn more about the 8 story, 87 apartment building proposed for 3010 Avalon Way SW.
