The Taradise Cafe in White Center will not reopen. Owned by Tara Eckman Scott since 2015, whose untimely death in July came as a shock to the entire White Center community, the cafe had seen some flooding in the basement two weeks prior.

The 1930's era stone cottage, around which a full fundraising campaign was forged finally moved. First delayed by the city for months for the permit, then on the evening of the move the process itself, carried out by the Nickel Bros.

A parade and other festivities connected to tonight’s Stone Cottage building move have been canceled due to a COVID-19 case that has emerged with the house-moving company. 

Can you imagine a painting by a dog, hanging in the Metropolitan Museum of Art? That's ok neither can your dog.  But it's still great fun for both people and dogs as a favorite fund raiser returns.
