Doreen Rae (Sneesby) Hinrichs
Born June 7, 1932 in Seattle, WA, Doreen passed away February 3, 2013 in Federal Way, WA. Doreen was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Doreen graduated from West Seattle High School in 1950. She volunteered 30 years at the Blood Banks in Silverdale and Federal Way, also Seattle VA, Retsil Veterans Home in Port Orchard, and the Veterans Home in Orting. She was a lifetime member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion, 8 & 40, and Red Hats, all in Silverdale, West Seattle and Federal Way.
Predeceased by husband, Lloyd B. Hinrichs, and parents, Emil and Marie Sauve, she is survived by fiance, Walton DeLong; daughters, Linda Maculanlan and Lorrie Hunt (Stephen); brother, Raymond Sneesby (Gayle); 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 nephews; 3 great-nephews and 1 great-niece.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 10, 1 p.m. at Kloshe Illahee Community Center, 2500 S. 370th St., Federal Way.
Remembrances may be made in Doreen’s name to American Diabetes, American Heart Assoc., or a charity of your choice.
