Priscilla (Duncan) FOSTER 1917-2014

Priscilla Foster, 96, of Seattle, WA, passed away January 12, 2014. Born November 9, 1917, in Virginia City, MT, her family moved to Seattle when she was nine. She graduated from Lincoln High School and attended the University of Washington.

She was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church, a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Alpha Pi chapter, a past-president of the West Seattle Garden Club, and a member of the Arboretum. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, painting, gardening, cooking and sewing, and was an excellent bridge player.
Priscilla is survived by two daughters, Roberta Elizabeth Foster of Seattle and Sarah Louise Foster Judson (Merne) of Gunnison, CO; grandchildren, Amy DeGraaf, Andrew Gates, Adam Gates, Jillian Weiss, Theodore Gates, Scott Peters and Logan Smith; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Harriet Gowan of Seattle. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, William Woodrow Foster.
