Carol Eriksen, born January 12, 1920, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014, just short of her 95th birthday.

Irene Carroll, as she was later known, was a graduate of West Seattle High School, Class of 1938. She obtained degrees from the UW, a BS in Chemistry (1942) and a BA in Psychology (1978). A member of the Mountaineers Club, she enjoyed the outdoors.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Eriksen) Van Voorhees (Robert), Seattle, WA; son, Rolf Eriksen, Orcas Island, WA; granddaughter, Kamrin Huban, and great-granddaughter, Lily Huban, Providence, RI; and grandson, Avery Wood, St. Peter, MN.
