Richard, 76, of West Seattle, passed away quietly Sunday, May 4, 2014. He was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his unexpected passing. Born February 27, 1938, he was a lifelong resident of Seattle.

He was a retired general contractor and past president of the AGC. Richard had many varied interests, but was especially fond of flying, recording music and horse pack trips. Countless people have had their lives changed by his wise mentorship, always delivered with laughter and an open heart.

Richard is survived by his wife, Sandi; five children, Richard III, Vicki, Bradley, David and Debbie; and seven grandchildren.

Richard was well loved and will be missed by many. Services will be held at a later date.
