Marianna Hatsumi (Miyazawa) WIGGINS 1920 - 2014

Born in Seattle, Washington April 28, 1920 to Tsunetaro Michael and Kuni Miyazawa, Marianna, 93, passed away peacefully March 30, 2014.

She attended Mary Knoll Parish. During WWII, she was interned at Minidoka Idaho Relocation Camp. Marianna was a switchboard operator at Pier 91 Naval Base where future husband, Jerry, was a Fire Captain. She was active in Pearl Harbor Survivors, Jerry's Masonic Fun on Wheels, Legion of Honor, and RVing and fishing activities.

Predeceased by sisters, Beatrice Miyazawa and Pauline Terashita; brother-in-law, Hideo Terashita; and husband of 38 years, Gerald “Jerry” E. Wiggins Sr., Marianna is survived by step-children, Carol Johnston (Ray, d.), Geraldine Wilbur (Larry), Gerry Wiggins (Penny) and Gary Wiggins (Suzi), 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; niece, Ann, and nephew, Michael Terashita; and special caregivers, Pat and Caitlin LaBlanc and Thai's Elder Home Care.
