An outstanding citizen and resident of West Seattle, Albert Ewings taught for over thirty years at Denny Middle School and was loved by many. Bert believed in higher education and the Golden Rule. Countless youth benefited from his love and concern for their personal success. Bert made the world a better place.

An outstanding husband, excellent brother, friend and neighbor, Bert will be greatly missed. God Bless You, Uncle Bert.

A Funeral Mass was held in his hometown, Tacoma, WA, at the family parish, The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, April 23, 2014.
