Oldest of three children born to Vida Pearl (McGee) Johnson. Dorothy attended West Seattle High School.
Married during WWII to the love-of-her-life, Robert D. Peace, she lived as a Coast Guard wife in 7 States. Dorothy adored her family.

A Bellevue Women’s Club member, she enjoyed gardening, painting, camping, and dancing.

Predeceased by her husband, Robert and survived by her children, Don Peace, Townsend, MT and Connie Rezendes, Sammamish, WA.

Graveside service held June 13, 2015 at Forest Lawn, West Seattle, WA. “Happy Dancing in Heaven, Mom!”
