Bob Ferguson died Thursday, July 28, 2016 of natural causes at Providence Mt. St. Vincent in West Seattle, where he had been a resident for 11 years.  

Bob was born in Chicago, and his family moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1937, settling in Tacoma. Bob graduated Stadium High School in 1943. During WW II Bob served as a combat infantryman in the U.S. First Division in Europe, participating in campaigns in the Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.
After the war, Bob married Mary Holmquist in 1950, graduated PLC in 1953, and moved to West Seattle in 1954, where he has lived ever since. Bob has been an active member of West Seattle Kiwanis for over 25 years.
Bob is survived by his children Larry and Julie, his granddaughters Erin, Sarah and Emma, and his great grandson Hudson.
