Born in Seattle, WA July 8, 1926, Joseph York, 89, of West Seattle, passed away November 30, 2015.
Joe graduated from Tenino High School. He served in WWII, 1944-1946.

He married Helen Oman April 5, 1952. Joe worked 33 years as a Bread Driver for Gai’s Bakery.
He had a passion for life, family, friends, and golf.

Joe is survived by his wife, Helen York; children, Vicki, Mike and Brian York; grandchildren, Alex, Maxwell, Jessica and Hunter York; and great-grandson, Aidan York.

A funeral service was held December 5, 2015 at West Seattle Christian Church; followed by a committal service December 7th at Tahoma National Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to West Seattle Christian Church.
