Seattle Police arrested a 30-year-old man after he was found in a stolen car, tried to speed away from officers and hit several occupied tents hurting two people on May 5.

The groundbreaking of the White Center Community HUB is taking place this Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Hicks Lake, Dick Thurnau Park's Bicycle Playground, 11050 10th Ave SW.

Update 5-22-24

The King County Prosecuting Attorney said that the suspect in the hit and run fatality that took place in White Center April 22 has been released due to lack of evidence.
