In a post on social media the "Friends of Evergreen High School" group revealed that the music progams at the school will be cut back due to lower than expected enrollment.

Lily's Salvadorean at 2940 Avalon Way closed for business on Sept 17 after being there since May of 2022.

Seattle Parks and Recreation is working to add more pickleball courts around the city as the popularity of the northwest born sport continues to grow.

A Design Review - Recommendation meeting has been set with the Southwest Design Board for October 19 regarding Project 3040026-LU at 5252 California Ave SW. This is for the Aegia Living assisted living building.

Target stores announced today that they will be closing two Seattle area stores. The Ballard store at 1448 NW Market St, Ste 100  and the U District store at 4535 University Way NE will close on Oct.21.

Update

In a close four to three vote on Monday Sept. 25, the Burien City Council passed Ordinance 818 that makes it illegal to camp or sleep outdoors in a non-residential public area in the city.

The West Seattle Transportation Council  September meeting is set for Sept. 28 in hybrid format.
