Burien Police Chief Theodore “Ted” Boe has accepted a promotion to serve as Patrol Operations Division Chief for King County Sheriff’s Office, effective January 1, 2023.

Back for it's second year the White Center Block Party, originally intended to be a fundraiser for the community, was bigger, bawdier, bolder and badder than before. 

BAT awarded Figgins a $1,000.00 tuition scholarship. In Figgins’ case, the money will defray the cost of tuition at the University of Washington, where she is majoring in Theater Arts.
