Kenneth Sage 1917 - 2012

Kenneth, 95, born and raised in Grinnell, Iowa, graduated from Grinnell College in 1940. He served in WWII as a Navy Lieutenant aboard the USS Comfort Hospital Ship in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and then in the USN Reserve until 1955.

Ken met Loyal Elise Bigelow in a Seattle hotel elevator in 1941 and they married in 1943. Elise was from West Seattle where they lived and raised their family. Ken retired from Colotrym Company in Seattle as Order Manager in 1979. They both loved to travel and spent a lot of time in Honolulu.

Predeceased by his parents, Howard and Agnes Sage; brother, Dale; and wife of 65 years, Elise, Ken is survived by daughter, Suesann Armstrong, and sons, Kenneth (wife, Jeannie) and Jerry; and grandsons, David Molvar and Perry Sage.

Dad and Mom will be together once again at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. At his request, no memorial service will be held.
