Born in West Seattle to Walter and Grace (Bell) Knight on January 30, 1933, Janet left this life on October 12, 2012.

Janet graduated from West Seattle High School and the University of Washington. She loved her family, friends, church, cats, and baseball.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Kristina Bakke, son-in-law, Ben Malinovitz, and several generations of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service was held Saturday, October 20, 2012, 1 p.m. at Fauntleroy Church, 9140 California Avenue SW, Seattle, WA 98136. Memorials to Fauntleroy Church, YMCA Camping Services, or WSHS Alum Association.
