Born in Pocatello, ID June 6, 1919 ~ Passed away peacefully October 20, 2012. After moving often in her younger years, Jewel graduated high school at 16, and from the University of California-Berkeley at 20.

She worked for TWA airlines, later meeting George Brazell through his cousin in Calif. Jewel moved to West Seattle and married her sweetheart in 1950. She worked for Boeing and retired from Municipal Probation. Making friends wherever she went, Jewel loved life, people, and breakfast at Be’s.

Predeceased by George in 2004 after 54 years of marriage, Jewel is survived by son, Gary, daughter, Janice, and grandson, Michael.

Jewel will be deeply missed. Mom, you truly were a “Jewel” - forever in our hearts.
