Marcie was born April 6, 1922 in Oroville, Washington. She graduated from Republic High School where she played basketball and was Vice President of her class.

Moving to Seattle after graduation, she married Max (Mickey) Hook February 15, 1947. She worked at Bethlehem Steel as a secretary in purchasing and also helped Mickey in the operation of their business, Junction Feed & Seed in West Seattle.

Marcie saw the beauty in everything, loved to be with her family, enjoyed flowers and loved to laugh.
She was beloved by her family: husband, Mick; son, Ron (Donna); daughters, Gayle (deceased) and Marilyn (Chris); grandchildren, Rosie and Indigo (Rachel); great-grandchildren, Iris and Harrison; sisters, Pauline, Marguerite and Millie (Bud); brothers, Bud and Jim (Martha).

At Marcie’s request there will be a family gathering to celebrate her life. Remembrances to Medic One.
