Horace “Tim” F. Eaton1927 - 2013

Horace Eaton passed away January 13, 2013 at Virginia Mason Hospital, Seattle, WA. Tim was born August 25, 1927 in Boston, MA to Horace Mann and Laura (Clark) Eaton. He attended Acadia University in Nova Scotia and Michigan Technological University. After graduating as a mechanical engineer, he first worked for the US government in Washington, DC and Taiwan. In 1955 Tim moved to Seattle and began work with the Boeing Company as a senior engineer until his retirement in 1984.

He was an entrepreneur who always had a project going. He was never at loss for a joke, and his sense of humor is legendary.

Tim is survived by June, his wife of 61 years, with whom he enjoyed many world travels and local adventures; daughter, Sharon Eaton and son, Fred Field-Eaton (Kris); grandsons, Cameron, Colin and Sean; sisters, Virginia Wright and Shirley Klindt. His son, Jonathan, and sister, June Hill, preceded him in death.

Tim’s memorial service will be held February 2nd, 2pm at Peace Lutheran Church, 8316 39th Ave. SW, Seattle, WA 98136, interment at a later date at Forest Lawn. The family requests that any remembrances be made to Peace Lutheran Church, or to your favorite charity.
