West Seattle/White Center 'No Kings' protests see strong turnout
Cindy Gruber (and husband Bill) were out in the Admiral District to exercise their First Amendment rights on Saturday June 14. The National "No Kings" protests which numbered over 2000 nationally saw a strong turnout locally in West Seattle, and White Center.

Groups gathered in the Admiral junction, Alaska Junction, on Delridge Way and even outside Arrowhead Gardens to share their opinion of the policies and actions of the Trump Administration on June 14. The demonstrations, a subset of the over 2000 No Kings protests taking place nationally, saw a strong turnout with plenty of signs, and lots of drivers honking support and agreement. White Center's version was a little different in that they dubbed it "Kick out the Clowns" and encouraged those participating to dress up in their best clown attire.
One participant, Cindy Gruber, out with her husband of 55 years said, "I'm here for my children, my grand children and my great grand children."
