EDITORS NOTE: A Type 2 UOF is Use Of Force and it refers to force that causes or is reasonably expected to cause physical injury greater than temporary pain but less than severe bodily harm like great bodily harm, substantial bodily harm, loss of consciousness, or death.
This level of force is typically employed when a subject is actively resisting or posing a threat that necessitates more than verbal commands or soft control techniques.
