Providence Mount St. Vincent is thrilled to announce the return of its Free Friday Night Summer Concert Series this August, inviting families and music lovers to enjoy a delightful evening of entertainment and delicious food. The series will take place on August 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd.
Each concert evening kicks off with a BBQ available for purchase from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, offering both cash and card payment options. Following the BBQ, the live music will fill the air from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Attendees can also enjoy complimentary popcorn and beverages.
The lineup promises a diverse range of musical tributes and genres:
• August 1st: The Illusion of Elvis by Danny Vernon will bring "The King" back to the stage by popular demand.
• August 8th: Joey Jewell will perform a Tribute to Sinatra and Friends.
• August 15th: Get ready for some classic tunes with Salt Luck Folk, offering Bluegrass and Country music from the 50s to the 80s.
• August 22nd: The series concludes with The 85th Street Big Band, featuring swing favorites from the 30s, 40s, and 50s.
Guests are strongly encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, as there will be a limited number of chairs available. Arriving early is also recommended to secure a good spot for the performances.
