Southwest Precinct neighbors will have the opportunity to engage directly with local law enforcement at the upcoming Southwest Precinct Advisory Council meeting. The event, themed "Let Your Voice Be Heard," is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, October 7th, at the Alki Masonic Center.
The community meeting will take place from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at 4736 40th Avenue SW. It aims to foster communication between the community and the Seattle Police Department.
The agenda for the evening is structured to cover several key areas. The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM with introductions from Community Leads, the Community Chairperson, and representatives from the City of Seattle.
Following introductions, at 6:45 PM, officers from the Southwest Precinct will provide an update. Scheduled speakers include 2nd Watch Lieutenant Wes Collier, Project Officer Barreto, and Crime Prevention Coordinator (CPC) Jennifer Satterwhite.
A significant portion of the meeting, from 7:15 PM to 7:55 PM, is dedicated to a facilitated Question and Answer session, providing a platform for residents to voice their concerns and ask questions. Organizers have encouraged community members who wish to have their questions addressed during this structured portion to submit them ahead of time via email to CPC Jennifer Satterwhite.
The event will conclude at 8:00 PM with closing comments and the announcement of the next meeting date
