The new J. Crew Factory outlet store has opened at Westwood Village.
The core idea behind J.Crew Factory outlet stores is to offer affordable, style-forward clothing that reflects the J.Crew brand aesthetic—but at lower prices, using a separate production line.
J.Crew Factory is a sister brand, not just a clearance channel. It produces its own merchandise, designed specifically for outlet stores.
The styles often mirror J.Crew’s mainline looks, but use less expensive fabrics, simplified construction, and fewer embellishments to reduce costs.
The aims to reach value-conscious shoppers who want the J.Crew look without the premium price tag.

So contrary to what some have suggested, factory items are not leftover stock from J.Crew retail stores—they’re made separately, often in different factories.
Their prices are typically 30–50% lower than J.Crew retail, with frequent promotions and “everything on sale” messaging.
The store is open seven days a week from 10am to 8pm.
