TIMsgiving is set for Tim’s Tavern in White Center with the expression “Come as you are, pay what you can.”
Owner Mason Reed said, “we are throwing a community Thanksgiving the TIM’s way: lots of heart, great food, and coming together for a cause. “
They are serving TIMsgiving Sandwiches: slow-roasted turkey, from-scratch stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and mayo, all packed into a glorious Thanksgiving-dinner-on-a-roll, with hot gravy on the side for dipping.
Vegan version available, no compromise on flavor.
Every sandwich is Name Your Price / Pay What You Can.
If you can kick in a little extra to help cover additional sandwiches for others that can’t afford it, thank you. If money’s tight, pay whatever you’re able, no questions asked.
They will be set up in the parking lot for folks who prefer to stay outdoors, and the bar will be open for anyone who wants to come inside, warm up, and be part of the neighborhood gathering.
Just like TIM’s means Together in Music, TIMsgiving is about taking care of each other. Come hungry, come as you are, pay what you can.
