The outage that affected nearly 3000 West Seattle city light customers, including the Westwood Village Shopping Center has been reduced to 587 customers from Roxbury to 106th Street SW.

A power outage hit West Seattle City Light customers around 11:48am on Sunday affecting 2951 customers. Restoration was not expected until around 5pm. Outages are often resolved before target times however.

The outage extends from Myrtle Street SW on the north to 106th SW on the south. 20th SW on the east to 47th on the west. The cause is still under investgation.
