The Westy Sports and Spirits, widely acknowledged as one of the best sports bars in the northwest has been inundated with requests for reservations for the Superbowl. But rather than make it first come first served, or rely on people who may not show up owners Paul Ritums and JP Vidicans thought it was time to do a call back to the days when they first opened. They announced this today:

"You’ve been asking, and here is how to secure your hassle-free spot at The Westy for the upcoming Seahawks game on February 8th!

We are selling Gift Cards at pre-set values that allow you to lock in your seat or table for the game. Purchases & seat selection must be made in person at 7908 35th Ave SW, Seattle, WA, starting on 4pm on Friday, January 30th. You can select your seat at the bar for $75, or lock in your table starting at $150 for two or up to $450 for a party of 6 or more. We have a limited number of tables that can accommodate larger parties. You select your preferred spot from the table map and list at the bar, buy your Gift Card, and add your details to the list, and you are all set.

The Gift Card is then yours to use that same day, save for the big day, or use it as a gift to pass along to someone else. This is our way to make game day plans a little more hassle-free and allow those that support us on a regular basis to lock in for the Hawks game.

Now for the fine details:

·         Gift Card value can only be issued one physical or e-gift card per reservation.

·         We will open at 2:00pm on Sunday Feb. 8th.

·         A credit card will still be required to hold a tab open on game day, but you can pay with the gift card when closing out.

·         Tables and seats will be labeled with Party name.

·         Table reservations will be released if nobody from the party has arrived by the time the game kicks off.

·         We want to ensure that we still have a full, lively bar for the game. In the event you may not be utilizing your full table we may ask that you allow a fellow fan to utilize any unused seats by the end of the first quarter. If you know you will have open seats prior to the game, please let staff know, or please welcome a walk-in guest to join.

·         Otherwise, grab your gift card, your fellow Seahawks friends and enjoy the game."

Also fun fact…one of our team members is actually heading to the Super Bowl as a member of their Dance Squad. We will have special SB Bingo cards, and one of the spaces is a “CJ Sighting”
