After months of silence, the music is returning to School of Rock West Seattle. The school has announced a grand re-opening event scheduled for March 7th, 2026, from noon to 3 pm.

The facility was forced to close its doors in October 2025 following a major water leak originating from a CVS pharmacy located directly above the school. The resulting water damage required a complete rebuild of the space, which the school confirms is now finished and ready for students.

Grand Re-Opening Festivities

The celebration on March 7th will feature a variety of activities for the community:

• Live Music: The school's house band will be performing live during their rehearsal throughout the event.
• Trial Lessons: Free trial lessons are available for those who pre-book by calling 206.294.3175.
• Tours & Prizes: Guests can take tours of the newly rebuilt facility and enjoy refreshments.
• Door Prizes: Attendees can enter a free drawing for a chance to win a brand-new Boss overdrive guitar effect pedal; winners do not need to be present at the 3 pm drawing to claim their prize.
