Denny International Middle School is preparing to host a significant community outreach event, the "Partnership for Hope," on Saturday, March 21, 2026. This free community store, designed to address food insecurity and strengthen local families, will be held in the school's Galleria from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..
Organizers have announced that the event will feature 37 pallets of food and household supplies, emphasizing that everything must go. The store is open to students, staff, and the entire broader community, offering groceries and essential supplies at no cost.
The Partnership for Hope is a collaborative effort between the Seattle CARES Mentoring Movement, the City of Seattle, Churchome, the 4C Coalition, and King County Best Starts for Kids.
This year, the initiative has expanded its outreach with an extraordinary contribution to ensure more families have consistent access to basic necessities.
Beyond providing immediate relief, the program aims to foster long-term stability, resilience, and stronger community connections. It works alongside local organizations and dedicated volunteers to provide critical support for families in need.
