The West Seattle Tool Library is excited to host its Annual Tool Sale on Saturday, April 25, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This signature event will take place at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, located at 4408 Delridge Way SW.
As the library’s most significant fundraiser of the year, the sale offers the community an opportunity to purchase hundreds of tools at deeply discounted prices. Shoppers can expect a wide selection ranging from power drills and saws to hand tools and gardening equipment. This year’s event also coincides with the Cooper Artist Garage Sale, creating a vibrant community atmosphere for local shoppers.
“The Annual Tool Sale offers a great chance to pick up tools at excellent prices—perfect for those starting a collection or simply adding to one,” said Dale Becker, President of the West Seattle Tool Library Board of Directors. “It’s a fun day for everyone and a great way to support a local resource that empowers neighbors with tools and learning opportunities”.
All proceeds from the sale directly fund the West Seattle Tool Library’s mission to provide affordable community access to tools and hands-on educational resources.
Donations and Workshop Schedule The library is currently accepting donations of working tools to be included in the sale. Community members are encouraged to drop off items during regular library hours to help ensure these tools find new homes while supporting the organization.
Please be advised that the workshop will be closed from Wednesday, April 22, through Sunday, April 26, to prepare for and host the sale. This includes the cancellation of the Wednesday Fix-It Workshop. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, April 28.
