Kristine Lenning passed away at home surrounded by family and friends after a long and courageous battle against cancer.

Kris became a West Seattle resident when she met and married Don G. Lenning 30 years ago. Don, Kris and daughter Alexa have been involved in the Sundancers team of "Relay for Life" events in West Seattle for the past few years.

Predeceased by her husband, Donald Lenning, Kris is survived by her daughter, Alexa Victoria Lenning; sister, Kathy Hodges; brothers, Bernard, Kenneth and Steven Larson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice and the team of Kris's coworkers that helped care for her.

A Celebration of Life was held October 4, 2014 at the West Seattle Golf Course. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
