Jack Clayton Langley
Jack was born October 20, 1920 to Otto and Mable (Irvine) Langley in Beatrice, Nebraska. He was the youngest of five children. He grew up in Beatrice and graduated from Beatrice High School. Jack was an athlete and was captain of their football team.
He joined the Navy in March 1942 and was discharged in 1945 as a "MOMM" - motor machinist. After being discharged he worked at several jobs before coming to Seattle. He went to work at Boeing aircraft as a machinist, working there for 26 years and then retiring.
