Sharon passed away peacefully at home on June 15, 2006 surrounded by family and friends.

Born July 25, 1941 to Fred and Adeline Dodd, Sharon was raised on a farm in Redmond through her grade school years. Growing up, Sharon attended many schools in the greater Seattle area and would graduate from Lake Washington High School in 1959. Influenced by her brother, Fred Jr. she developed an affinity for fast cars, which turned into a love of drag racing. She met and later married Dick Kalivoda and they would make West Seattle their home.

Doris Conn, age 77, born in S. River, New Jersey on February 6, 1929, passed away peacefully at home, while surrounded by family, on Sunday, June 18, 2006. She and Thomas A. Conn moved to Genesee Hill in West Seattle in 1969 where they raised six children. She worked as a seamstress in North Seattle and later in Modern Care, until retiring in 2002 at age 73. She is preceded in death by infant daughter, and by husband Thomas "Alvin" having cremation plots together in the Rose Garden at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Marie was born November 26, 1913 in Mt. Vernon, Washington and died June 7, 2006. She married Hugo in 1940, who preceded her in death in 2002. They lived in Bellingham after WWII, and moved to Seattle in 1951. Marie was a long time member of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed activities with the Ryther charity, gardening, traveling, time at the cabin and especially time with the family. She is survived by Sue (Don) Bird, Steve (Jan) Holmer, grandchildren Jeff (Cheryl) Bird, Chris (Nicole) Holmer, Andrea (Scott) Holte, and great granddaughter Kyla Holte.

Kenneth J. White, age 71 of West Seattle, Washington, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2006 surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with heart and kidney disease.

Born October 12, 1934 in Red Cloud, Nebraska to Ruth and Robert White, he moved to Hood River, Oregon shortly and later moved to Longview, Washington. Ken attended Western State College earning a BA in business and education. Following his graduation, he taught in the local school system and then became director for the YMCA. Ken then built and directed a summer YMCA camp at Mt. St.

Edwin Robert Willgress, Sr. passed away peacefully at home on June 4, 2006, surrounded by his devoted family. A lifelong resident of Seattle, he was born on June 19, 1919, to Edwin J. Willgress and Rhena Sutherland Willgress. During his youth, he was active in the Boy Scouts, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Queen Anne High School, and afterward attended the University of Washington. Ed was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Forestry in 1941. He continued his studies as a graduate student in iron and steel, metallography.

Sheri passed unexpectedly on May 22, 2006, at the age of 45. Born in West Seattle, she was the daughter of Margaret (Parks) Corey and the late Dr. Stuart Stevenson; stepfather, Dr. John Corey, and stepmother, Ginny Stevenson. Sheri is also survived by her brother, Jon Stevenson; step sisters, Nina Diaz and Merry Sterling; stepbrothers, John J. Corey and Mark Corey; and constant companion, Winslow. After graduating from Sealth High School, Sheri remained devoted to working with horses at the former Longacres and current Emerald Downs Race Track.

2/16/1914 to 6/3/2006

Passed away peacefully June 3, 2006 in Port Angles after an accidental fall. She was on a car trip to Hurricane Ridge enjoying life right to the end. Born Ora Ione Theisen in Sherwood, ND on February 16, 1914. At seven years old she moved to Seattle and graduated from Queen Anne High School in 1932. She was an athlete throughout her life and in High School was voted Best Senior Girl Athlete. In 1939, she won the Seattle Pairs City Roller Skating Championship.

Passed away on June 11th at home after an extended illness. Bob was born in Seattle on April 15th, 1921 and resided there the majority of his life.

After growing up in West Seattle, he graduated from Edison Vocational School and then attended the University of Washington, where he was a member of crew. The next years were spent serving in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.

While his career was spent as an Executive at Ford Motor Company and later at Boeing, he was always a "car" guy at heart. During this time of his life, his hobby was his work.

Walter "Roy" Moyer, age 84, passed away peacefully June 13, 2006 in Burien, Washington. Beloved father of Judith K. MacMillan (Bellevue), and grandpa of Joyce LeCompte-Mastenbrook and Bridgette Boudreau (both of Seattle). Great-grandpa to Jessie and Jasmine. He was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and lifetime love, Maxine Iris, in 1990; and by his second wife Beaulah Luthy Moyer in 2001. Roy was a self-made man; he took pride in his work as Head Materials and Fabrication Inspector for the state of Washington and believed in a lifetime of learning.

Muriel Stivers was bon on Septembers 29, 1928 in Hoonah, Alaska and passed away on June 15, 2006 in Seattle, Washington. She is survived by her eleven children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jefferson Myron Stivers, son Robert William Stivers and daughter Cecelia Marjorie Stivers. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on June 24th, 2006 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Seattle, Washington. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Heart Association.
