Robber hits bank twice
A persistent bank robber has hit the same Wells Fargo Bank twice. The bank is located inside the Safeway Store at 4011 S. 164th, SeaTac. The robber first struck about 5:50 p.m. on June 17th. He presented the teller with a robbery note, then fled with the cash. No weapon was seen.
On Tuesday of last week the same guy struck again. On Aug. 25 he walked up to a teller just after 5 p.m.. He again used a note, was given the cash and walked out. No weapon was seen. No one saw a getaway car after either robbery.
The robber is a Hispanic male in his 30's about 5'8" to 5'11" tall with black hair. He wore dark sunglasses and a tan zip-up jacket in both robberies. He wore a white baseball cap in the most recent incident.
If anyone recognizes this suspect they are asked to call the King County Sheriff's Office at 206-296-3311 (24 hours) or 9-1-1.
Salon owners charged
One of the owners, Xin He, of Natural Beauty Salon is charged with using counterfeit wrinkle remover, which he injected into a client's face causing a reaction so severe that she required medical care. Another client had to get plastic surgery.
Two owners, Tan Le, and his wife, Hang Ho, of Crystal Nails tried to bribe a federal inspector to overlook the use of an imported, not FDA approved, laser machine used on clients, according to prosecutors. They offered up to $800 to the inspector to let them keep using the machine. All three owners are now facing separate federal indictment that could mean prison time.
Xin He, could be looking at a three-year prison sentence while Tan Le and Hang Ho could be looking at a possible fifteen-year prison sentence.
Hit and run driver
Police arrested a driver suspected of drunken driving after the driver ran a red light at South 154th street and 24th Ave South in Sea-Tac and struck another car. The driver then fled the scene only to return later on that night. All injured in the accident were taken to local hospitals.
Refusing to pay
An unidentified person entered Denny's restaurant for a bite to eat. The subject ordered a water and burrito, ate it and then decided to take a nap. Four hours later the customer woke up and refused to pay for the meal. Police were called to diffuse the situation.
Unattended baby
Two deputies responded to 15400 block of Des Moines Memorial Drive in regards to a child on a balcony. The witness had been watching the one-year -old for over an hour unattended on the balcony. The child's father works the graveyard shift. No other information was given at the time.
