West Seattle went down to a 55-46 defeat at the hands of the Gig Harbor Tides in a Class 3A girls basketball state semifinal Friday.

The loss dropped the Wildcats into a 1 p.m. Saturday battle with Stanwood back at the Tacoma Dome with third and fifth place on the line.
