The wall near the toilet in the men's room at West Seattle Arcade was set on fire Tuesday by an unknown arsonist. More security for the bathrooms is now set to be added.

A fire, started in the men's bathroom at West Seattle Arcade at 2758 Alki Ave SW early Tuesday evening doing “thousands of dollars in damage, according to co-owner Elyssa Cichy.
‘It was definitely arson” she said but it’s not clear exactly who set the fire or why though it was possibly kids they indicated.
Engine 29 responded to the scene and handled the matter quickly.
In the meantime the business will need to rely on it’s other bathroom for patrons.
They will add code entry for the bathrooms in the future.
They expect it will take a week to get it fully repaired.
