#2025-216901/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/F3:
At 2:46am, the victim was at 8 Ave S/S Cloverdale St delivering newspapers.
The victim exited his car.
The suspect got inside the victim’s vehicle. The victim jumped on the windshield and the suspect drove off.
The victim fell from his car and struck the concrete. The suspect turned back around and intentionally struck the victim.
The victim had a head injury, possibly broken bones, and swelling on his face.
SFD said that the injuries were non-life threatening. The victim is 65 years old. Officers checked the scene for cameras, but none were working.
The time delay for the 911 call was about 20 minutes due to the language barrier.
The victim was transported to HMC, and incident was screened with the SPD Robbery Unit
