Team members at the Westwood Village Panda Express were out cleaning the front glass as others were getting the interior spruced up and ready for their opening on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 10 am.

The new Panda Express location in Westwood Village, just north of the QFC grocery store is set to open at 10am on Thursday Sept. 2, The store, which formerly was occupied by Pet Pros, has been under renovation for well over a year. It's a Panda Home "concept store" complete with red lanterns Chinatown signs, and a moon gate portal on the wall. The store will be open from 10:30 to 10pm daily.
The Grand Opening on Thursday at 9:20 will feature a ribbon cutting from the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce and will give the first 80 customers a free T-shirt, a bag and panda present. There will be prizes and discounts offered throughout the day. Festivities will include entertainment from Japanese Drum Band, Inochi Taiko.
The restaurant is a fast casual concept, and their top selling items include Orange Chicken, Beijing Beef and Honey Walnut Shrimp. Other dishes like Broccoli Beef and Mushroom Chicken are popular too, but these three consistently sell more.
