West Seattle Junction Association is inviting the community to join in the seasonal celebration at Harvest Fest on Sunday, October 26th, from 11 AM to 2 PM. The event will take place in the heart of the Junction, along California Ave SW between SW Alaska and SW Edmunds. This free, family-friendly event is a cherished fall tradition in West Seattle, offering a variety of festive activities for all ages.
Attendees can look forward to a Costume Parade led by the West Seattle High School Marching Band, a performance by the Seattle Thrillers at noon, a Pie-Eating Contest presented by A La Mode Pies, and a Chili Cook-Off benefiting the West Seattle Food Bank. Additionally, there will be Sidewalk Trick-or-Treating from 11 AM to 2 PM, live music, activity booths, and various surprises throughout the event.
Families are encouraged to bring their children and pets, although it is noted that the event can be loud and crowded, so pet owners should ensure their animals are comfortable in such environments.
"Harvest Fest really captures the spirit of West Seattle," said Stacie Woods, Marketing & Events Director of the West Seattle Junction Association. "It’s about neighbors, families, and local businesses coming together to celebrate community in the heart of the Junction."
