Get ready to mark your calendars because the "Hometown Holidays 2025" celebration in the West Seattle Junction is set to bring warmth and cheer to the community, starting the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year’s schedule emphasizes supporting local businesses, enjoying live entertainment, and, of course, spending time with Santa and his helpers.

The festivities kick off on Saturday, November 29th, with a push to SHOP SMALL.

As December begins, the schedule ramps up with opportunities for late-night shopping and family fun. On December 4th, attendees can look forward to seeing Santa, Santa’s Elves, and enjoying LIVE MUSIC, alongside a book club event.

A major highlight is scheduled for December 6th, which features SHOP LATE opportunities and the highly anticipated tree lighting ceremony. The tree lighting event is packed with excitement, including a Holiday Market, live music, carolers, Santa, and a beverage garden. 

Mid-December brings more opportunities to shop and sample local favorites. On December 11th, during another SHOP LATE event, visitors can enjoy the company of Santa’s elves and carolers. This date also features the West Seattle Art Walk and samples of Beecher’s soup and cheese.

Community efforts are also central to the season. A Kiwanis Cocoa & Coat Drive is scheduled for December 14th at the Farmers Market.

The full calendar promises a wonderful opportunity to enjoy live music, delicious samples, and the magic of the holiday season.
