Information from Seattle Police Blotter
#2026-72326/Southwest Precinct/First Watch/W1:
At 8:00 am on Monday, while on routine patrol, an Officer got an ALPR (Automated License Plate Reader) hit on a parked vehicle that had a Silver Alert attached to it. (NOTE: A Silver Alert is a public notification system used to locate missing seniors, typically age 60-65 or older, or people with cognitive impairments like Alzheimer's or dementia).
He found the vehicle unoccupied but noted that the engine was still warm. Noting that the subject would be close, other units responded for an area check.
Officers found the subject about a block away.
They were in good health. The family of the subject was contacted and Officers stood by with them until family picked up the subject.
