The forest is calling, and it has a song to sing. The Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA) has officially announced the return of the Arts in Nature Festival, a vibrant, immersive experience set to transform the woods of West Seattle into a living gallery. The festival has been absent for seven years (2020–2026) initally due to the pandemic.
On Saturday, June 27th, 2026, Camp Long will host this unique celebration from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The festival, which is free for everyone, invites the community to wander scenic forest trails and discover a world where "art and nature move together".
A Symphony in the Trees
Attendees can look forward to live performances across four intimate stages, including the Main Stage, the Pond Stage, and the Meadow. To honor the natural environment, many of these performances will be acoustic and unplugged, bringing the forest to life with the sounds of musicians, movement theater artists, and dance troupes.
One of the festival’s most enchanting features is the Whispering Cabins. Eight rustic cabins scattered throughout the park will be transformed into one-day immersive installations created by visual, sound, and multimedia artists. These interactive spaces are designed to spark imagination and foster a deep connection between artistic expression and the great outdoors.
Opportunities for Local Creatives
DNDA is currently seeking artists to participate in the 2026 festivities. Musicians, performers, and installation artists are encouraged to apply and contribute to the festival’s magic. Performance fees are set at $200 per person (up to $500 per group), while installation artists receive a $400 fee for the weekend, with the added perk of overnight cabin stays.

Community and Connection
Beyond the performances, the festival is a hub for community building. Families can enjoy dedicated art zones designed for kids to create and play, while local non-transactional vendors and nonprofit organizations will be on-site to share resources and knowledge.
This celebration of local vibrance is a cornerstone of DNDA's mission. The organization continues to keep the "pulse of our community beating" through diverse programming, including new bookmaking classes and free live watch parties for Seattle FIFA games at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center.
Whether you are relaxing under the trees or dancing in the Meadow, the 2026 Arts in Nature Festival promises something inspiring around every bend. For those looking to get involved, DNDA is also welcoming volunteers to help make the event a welcoming and safe space for all.
