JUDY ANN MOULTON has been in demand as a featured performer for musical theatre in the Pacific Northwest for well over 3 decades!. Blessed with a voice that can fill a concert hall and then quietly caress a soft ballad, she is “old school” when it comes to delivering a song to an audience." Her show "Judy Sings Judy" received the BroadwayWorld.com Seattle Critic’s Choice Award for Best Theatrical Event of 2010. Judy Ann flourishes in Garland’s musical world, so sit back and enjoy an evening of some of the finest Judy Garland songs along with many Musical Theatre favorites performed by a gifted and marvelous singer.
SPECIAL GUEST KEYBOARD ARTIST Jeff Caldwell currently lives in New York City, teaching voice and coaching musical theater. This beloved Seattle theatre friend has been so missed. He specializes in training singers, and taught at the University of Washington and Cornish College of the Arts. He played in the Broadway pit of The Producers, sang in the chorus at New York City Opera, and was on the faculty of the Juilliard Drama Division as Musical Vocal Coach. Before moving to New York, he sang and music directed at many theaters in Seattle, including the 5th Ave, Seattle Rep, Village Theater, Intiman, and ACT. One of his earliest experiences performing in Seattle was as Danilo in The Merry Widow at Burien Little Theater, directed by Al Reamer, and where he also met Jane, Annie, and Barbara. A few years later he met Judy Ann in another south Sound show, Nunsense at Renton Civic Theater. He's thrilled to return "home" and collaborate with long time friends and colleagues.
Doors open at 5:30 pm for those ordering dinner and drinks. Angelo's is popular for their excellent food; see their menu at angelosofburien.com. Of course, food can be purchased with your debit/credit card. The show starts at 6:00 on Sunday and 7:00 on Monday and runs about an hour and a half. (Angelo's has plenty of free parking.)
