West Seattle wipes out Bainbridge 81-33; Basketball results from around the Westside

West Seattle went wild for an 81-33 girls basketball victory over Bainbridge on Wednesday.
The Wildcats improved to 8-0 in Metro League action with the high-scoring road win.
Ballard also bested its opponent Wednesday, topping Cleveland by a 68-56 score in another Metro League game.
In other girls basketball action that night, Tyee took a 50-25 loss to Lindbergh and Seattle Lutheran fell to Mount Rainier Lutheran by a 41-14 score.
Tuesday night action had Foster defeating Evergreen, 75-10, and Seattle Christian winning by a 71-32 margin over Vashon Island.
Mount Rainier, meanwhile, took a 51-31 loss to Kentwood and Kennedy Catholic was dealt a 44-26 loss by Tahoma in the North Puget Sound League.
Orting was a 50-34 winner over Tyee and Eatonville a 71-28 winner over Highline in the South Puget Sound League.
Boys Basketball results
On the boys side Wednesday, Seattle Lutheran posted a 53-44 SeaTac B League victory over Mount Rainier Lutheran.
West Seattle was a 59-33 boys winner over Bainbridge on Tuesday while Chief Sealth lost to Garfield, 81-36, and Ballard to Cleveland, 87-64.
Kennedy edged Tahoma, 60-58, and Mount Rainier lost to Kentwood, 66-52.
Highline’s Pirates cruised to a 68-56 victory over Eatonville and Foster cut down Evergreen, 61-39.
Seattle Christian lost to Vashon Island that night, 72-61.
