A free and open-to-the-public town hall meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5, 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm at West Seattle High School 2600 California Ave SW.
The event is an open forum designed for community members to gather and discuss important issues, focusing specifically on substance use prevention efforts. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts and concerns.
Key speakers at the town hall will include Sgt. Matt Roberson from the Seattle Police, Jennifer Satterwhite, SW Precinct Crime Prevention Coordinator, and Nathalie Meus, a Healthy Schools Coordinator.
In addition to the open discussion, the event will feature a training session on youth vaping prevention. Free lock boxes will also be provided. Refreshments will be available for attendees.
The town hall is being presented by the Coalition for Substance-Free Youth Westside. Partnering organizations include SW Seattle Youth Alliance, Washington State Health Care Authority, King County, Westside HEY (Healty Empowered Youth) and Seattle Public Schools.
